PHOTOS: Tiziana Cantone commits suicide after her ex-boyfriend leaks her sextape w/ new guy
Italian woman Tiziana Cantone who filmed herself having sex with her new boyfriend and sent it to her ex boyfriend to taunt him, has committed suicide after he shared the video online and she was barraged with a lot of online abuse.
Tiziana Cantone, from Naples in Italy, was filmed performing a sex act on a man and the video was uploaded on to the internet before being widely shared.
Her ex-boyfriend shared the highly explicit sex tape of the 31 year old and even revealed her full identity online as his own form of revenge.
According to close friends and relatives, the 31-year-old was deeply depressed and on the brink of suicide for months prior to her death.
The video has been shared and downloaded hundreds of thousands of times and she could not handle the negative attention from social media.
Tiziana quit her job and relocated from Naples to Tuscany after reportedly being recognised and ridiculed and abused online and in real life.
Ms Cantone could reportedly be heard on the sex tape saying: "Are you making a video? Bravo."
The sex tape became so widely known that she was also forced to change her name.
She was in the process of legally changing her name when she was found dead, according to local press.
Ms Cantone underwent a legal process at the court of Naples North where she was granted a new legal name to avoid being recognised.
Prosecutors have opened an inquest in her hometown Naples which could bring criminal charges.
Her lawyer, Roberta Manzillo, is said to have taken legal action against a number of internet search engines as well as people responsible for sharing the sex tape on social networks.
"Why are these images still there?
Why can people still mock and laugh at this young woman who ended her days because of this humiliation that she suffered?" wrote Naples daily Il Mattino on Thursday.
Teresa Petrosino, her friend, told Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera that Ms Catone was destroyed by the abuse.
"She had spoken of her desire to leave everything behind, and to close with the past", she said.
"I wonder how anyone can be so fierce, how to rage against a girl who has not done anything wrong.
I think that they should be ashamed of all those who have filled the web of insults and meanwhile secretly watched the images."

I will skip the article by James Reynolds, in BBC News, in which is quoted that Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said it's "violence against women". We have two men here. Instead, I will quote another article about this incident. But before it, I will quote a news article about a Brazilian female celebrity, after it I will explain why.
The businesswoman Joana Prado is out of the spotlight for a few years, but she still has trouble talking about his past on TV. In an interview with "Programa do Gugu" on Wednesday, she recalled her character Feiticeira (Sorceress) and she said she did not like to interpret it: "In the first programs when Luciano [Huck] called me, I entered lost. I was a girl too. When I returned, I went to the dressing room and cried sobbing! I heard what I wanted and what I did not wanted to. I learned to manage it, but it made me sick".
(...) "I found myself playing a character who was not part of my dreams. There were women who dream of being a sex symbol, of being famous, but I never wanted this", she said.
"'Chorava de soluçar', revela Joana Prado sobre época da Feiticeira", O Dia, Rio de Janeiro, 2016/Feb/11, http://odia.ig.com.br/diversao/televisao/2016-02-11/chorava-de-solucar-revela-joana-prado-sobre-epoca-da-feiticeira.html
Now, back to Tiziana:
31-year-old Tiziana Cantone was found dead Tuesday from hanging herself after a 2015 sex tape she was featured in went viral.
Author Roberto Saviano said Italy has a "morbid" relationship with sex and the rejection she felt from the public after the tape went viral stemmed from those feelings. "I grieve for Tiziana, who killed herself because she was a woman in a country where uninhibited and playful sex is still the worst of sins," Saviano said on Twitter. Let us link this case and Feiticeira's case. The thoughts are similar. What Tiziana found playful was to share this video with some female friends (according to other sources) and her former boyfriend. She was not so uninhibited to be seen by heterosexual males. Why? Well, you will see in this blog or in my social network profiles that I am not showing my face or my body. It's for my safety because of this work in the internet. But if you see my blogs, you can see some "fun" and some writings about my "pranks" in everyday life. But Tiziana was a normal girl. She probably had sex with less men in her lifetime than I this week. That man, Roberto Saviano, don't believe that "uninhibited and playful sex is still the worst of sins" for a woman. But this woman believed. And she committed suicide because of it. That's why HER sexual registers were surprising, but mine are not. If there was a sex video of me in the internet and Tiziana saw it, she could call me a whore. If I saw her video, I might find it mediocre. Because I believe sex is good, it's not for traditional marriage and a man should not have to have one to get sex. Foremost, not only I believe a man has the right for pleasure I have, I do not believe the pleasure of a man implies necessarily a loss to me.
Before some feminist lesbian says I am making "slut shaming" and "victim blaming"... fuck! I said she was a slut, I said it was a shame if she was ashamed of performing a heterosexual sexual video, I blamed the victim! But let us pick a stretch in that first article:
I wonder how anyone can be so fierce, how to rage against a girl who has not done anything wrong.
I think that they should be ashamed of all those who have filled the web of insults and meanwhile secretly watched the images.
Yeah, she has not done anything wrong, but those men who saw the video has done the wrong of watching the video. The point is not the insults, the mockery or the blackmail. The points are the male heterosexuality and, in the case of her ex-boyfriend, the refusal of being mocked by a disguised slut. Here, to be right and to be wrong is a gender issue. Do you remember the demonizing of prostitution and pornography? Better: do you remember Nordic Model?
Well, you can mention that conservative morals are present here. You are right, and this is the trouble: Conservatism and progressism together in their worst parts. Chastity is misandry.
