1) Mia Khalifa against pornography 1: the point of view of a LGBT-feminist woman

June 29, 2020 at 21:48 Outburst (sorry for the huge text, sanfran untaught me to write short texts) In recent days, Twitter has commented a lot about Mia Kalifa. She even did some stories on Instagram talking about how the 6 porn videos she made will chase her for the rest of her life and warning the girls to never fall into this trap. A few days later, she launched an online petition to get her videos off the internet (are 6 videos with more than 800 million views). Well, but everyone knows that. What few people know is that Mia graduated from the University of Texas, in Art History.[02] After she left adult videos, she worked as a legal assistant and book-keeper in Miami. Today she is a sports commentator and has 20.9 million followers on Instagram. Still, when you search her name on Google, the first 20 links that will appear are her pornographic videos.[03] Which she did 6 years ago. For 3 months. Earning a total of 12,000 dollars. 3 months. 6 videos. After seeing this and starting to reflect, today I came across another situation: the Instagram of a guy who basically lives surrounded by sexualized women. Hypersexualized. His Instagram basically seeks to explore the stereotype of the rich and promiscuous male, who has a lot of women at his disposal, as if it was a menu. But the point of my text is not about Mia or this stupid guy. It's about the sexualization of women. I'm not going to go on too long, but the question I wanted to ask is: have you, man, ever reflected if you value the women around you beyond their sexual aspects or physical characteristics? Do you genuinely notice these things? Because, in my view, these attitudes, far from being isolated attitudes, demonstrate how women are still subjected to such a simple quality screen. How many times have you, woman, been called beautiful? And how many times have you been praised for your professional qualities? I'm sure the answers to these questions are going to be very dissimilar. This all has to do with porn, yes, but it has much more to do with this patriarchal society that has always taught us that the role of women is to take care of the house and to procreate. Unlike many things and even in disagreement with the Pietra of 4 years ago, I believe in the presence of men within the feminist movement. I would like their presence, I would like to see them listening and talking about feminism, questioning themselves, discussing with each other about toxic masculinity and patriarchy. Not least because we have to stop putting the responsibility for discussing structural machismo only on the shoulders of women. So if you man want to contribute in any way to the fight, you can start by asking yourself: do I appreciate, genuinely, other characteristics of women than sexual ones? Can I name a woman that I think is beautiful but beauty is my secondary admiration? My friends, my girlfriend, do I really have any admiration other than aesthetics? 3) Mia Khalifa against pornography 3: my answer[05]
I commented by message, and I extend the comment to you Anna Karynna and the conservatives in this group:
Two great similarities between feminist women and conservative women: 1) Believing that heterosexual sex is a degradation of women and male heterosexuality is an insult to the dignity of women. 2) Believing that a woman can be magnificent through compensating her lack of cock with prominence in some social or professional area.
You had put the question of looking at a woman outside of the sexual aspect. I'll reverse your exposure: what is the problem with a man seeing a woman in the sexual aspect? You say you accept men in the LGBT-feminist movement. Lie. It is biologically normal for men and women to look at each other with sexual interest, and more than that, the distinction between man and woman is sexual. Professional skills, for example, are things which who have or do not have are people, not men and women. If you advocate that women do what men do and be where men are, you want women to look like men. Therefore, you are not only against the presence of men in the feminist movement and in the world, you are against the presence of women in the feminist movement and in the world. You want a herd of oxen (castrated) serving a legion of simian lesbians.
Another thing that is a quality of people, not men or women, is amiability. Do you consider a woman to be amiable is macho oppression, as several of your fellow activists have said?
As for pornography, there is no antipathy to pornography without aversion to straight sex and to men. And lesbianism is not female homosexuality, it's a sociopathic disorder.
And the subject that you discuss in the post, I already addressed in the opposite line:
April 2013: "You must respect or admire a woman when she tries to look like men, but you are degrading this woman when you look at her like a woman, or she demoralizes herself and women when she looks like a woman", [reference 06]
June 2006: "Take it easy, boy, you can look to my body", [reference 07]

Ah, and since we talk about a man seeing qualities in a woman beyond beauty, everyone who knows me personally has said that I am or appear to be an awesome fucking professional, in whatever in the possible meanings. And my male colleagues and clients at work also say that it is a pleasure for them to see me in person. And several of them told me that it was a huge pleasure for them to be with me outside the workplace.
4) My comments on social media 1: deleting Mia Khalifa for the anti-sex sect[08]
In the recent case of Mia Khalifa's anti-pornography activism and some alleged fans wanting to take her videos off the internet[09], I just ask one thing: why doesn't anyone see a Lisa Ann or a Silvia Saint telling the girls not to enter the porn industry[10]?
The case of Mia Khalifa was just the somewhat lucky encounter of an ex-actress willing to spit on the plate she ate, but who achieved some success, with lesbofeminists and conservatives who have a worn-out and failed campaign against sex work. Now it is only necessary to make a release in the traditional press which has fewer and fewer readers and subscribers, as has already been done on the Brazilian portal G1[11], in the anti-sex bubbles on social networks and perhaps in the services transmitted via YouTube from churches that are closed because of the Chinese flu.
5) My comments on social media 2: deleting Mia Khalifa and rewriting August Ames for the anti-sex sect[12]
In the box of related articles in the Monet magazine article about Mia Khalifa[13]: "A heavy scene in a film may have motivated a porn actress' suicide"[14]. The article was published January last year. The actress is August Ames. Lead: "The authors of a podcast about the life of August Ames say that acting in the last film amplified the abuse she suffered as a young woman. Initially, the trigger was thought to have been virtual bullying". The podcast's name (it's not in the text) is "The Last Days Of August", by Jon Ronson and Lina Misitzis, a name that the Monet article further brings misspelled ("Lena" instead of "Lina").
The podcast producers appeared in this article in Organizações Globo and at least in one article in The Guardian[15]. But what is their audience? Twitter followers today, Lina Misitzis has 6,848[16] and Jon Ronson has 236,800[17]. Slightly less than the number of Jon Ronson's followers, 236,059, was the number of digital subscribers to Brazil's largest newspaper, Folha de São Paulo, in 2019[18]. The same Folha has already sold 300 thousand printed copies per day in 2003[19]; today, it's barely more than that with digital subscriptions plus print runs. The circulation of the New York Post, which the article cites that made a reportage on the podcast, went from 724,748 in March 2007[20] to 426,129 at the end of 2018[21]. The Guardian had a circulation of 130,484 in July 2019, down 5% from the previous year.[22] So, which audience? The audience of the old press is a much smaller audience than a qualified and reliable press would have, and getting smaller and smaller. The audience of these producers is a part of that audience.
To make matters worse (for them), among the followers of porn actresses on Twitter, we can reach those 236,800 followers of Jon Ronson if we add the 51,200 of the American Addie Andrews[23], the 49,400 of the Brazilian Wanessa Boyer[24] and the 137,800 of the Czech Drahomira Juzova (or Lady Dee)[25]; or if we multiply by 85 the 2,816 followers of Vina Sky[26].
After a "pansexual" who threatened to kill August Ames locked up his Twitter profile after the crap was done, her suicide was only because of one, Monet's words, "traumatic youth with a history of abuse". I commented at the epoch that "the Horseshoe Theory, in practice, made a donkey disappear when a wild horse hid".[27] Now, the donkey and the moderate horse appear to erase the tracks. But if they want to talk about August Ames and Mia Khalifa to attack pornography, they will preach to converts, they will talk to the bubble. As I explained, an ever smaller bubble. By the way, I mentioned pornstar Addie Andrews, who is a former Mormon missionary[28]. The man or boy who is under 30 years old today has known or will know pornography through direct access via the internet, perhaps on a smartphone; not through preaching by... mature people who have notorious problems with a woman with a beautiful body and decent sex. They want to rewrite or to delete History, but they will rewrite for fewer and fewer readers, those who have not saved the files nor know where to find the saved files.
