Tenemos mucho de que nos avergonzarmos. Nosotras sentimos un profundo dolor por las acciones destructivas del femenino consciente e inconsciente en el pasado y el presente. Queremos reparar lo que puede ser reparado y parar esas acciones, con el fin de tracer una nueva era de co-creación con usted.
No sabemos quien ha creado la primera religión, si algunos hombres o algunas mujeres. Pero las religiones sobrevivieron debido a nosotras, las mujeres mediocres en el pasado y en el presente. ¿Por qué nosotras mismas educamos a nuestros hijos en esta basura? ¿Usted de verdad cree o ha creído que ha habido una Diosa que fue derrocado por un grupo de hombres idiotas molestos, y ellos meteron en nuestras gargantas los dioses que ellos mismos inventaron? (Dicho sea de paso, ¿qué Diosa es esta que no ha terminado con esto, en primer lugar?) ¿Y usted realmente cree que las mujeres que siempre han sido la mitad de la humanidad toleraron por miles de años un sistema social y religioso en ellas nunca han recibido nada bueno?
Nosotras educamos ustedes, hombres, para exaltarnos el solo hecho de ser mujeres. Si usted busca, encontrará, en cualquier tiempo machista, cuando debríamos estar sujetas a los padres y al esposo, sin derecho a voto, sin derecho ni siquiera a salir solo en la calle, hombres nos llamaban sabias, fuertes morales, madres amorosas, fuertes, justas, dulces, angelicales sólo por sermos mujeres. Y vea cómo es gracioso: nosotros llamamos machismo un sistema en el que usted NUNCA hicieron lo que querían, pero lo que nosotras queríamos que ustedes hiciesen por nosotras. Maestros no arrastraban la silla para sus esclavos sentaren, ¿verdad?
No sabemos quien fue la primera persona en ser gobernante de su grupo, pero en el peor, no habría la segunda si nosotras no amasemos la ostentación, la humillación de los demás, la grosería, la vulgar demonstración de fuerza, y si no fueramos tres, cinco, diez mujeres dando el sexo para el mismo hombre destacado, cada una sabendo de las demás, mientras que para el hombre justo, sabio, hábil, amable, pero no-destacado, no le damos la oportunidad de que nos toque sin decenas de requisitos y sin la falta de mejores opciones. Nosotras no tenemos la culpa de la falta de carácter e inteligencia de algunos hombres, pero tenemos la culpa de convertir a un hombre de carácter e inteligencia en casi un sinónimo de payaso insignificante.
Nos encanta cuando un hombre se compromete a "poseer y servir una masculinidad que nos honra y celebra como iguales", cuando se quiere decir nuestro feminismo, de la igualdad en lo que es conveniente y el odio y el desprecio por los hombres en el resto. Nos encanta cuando algunos hombres utilizan su carácter solo para culparense de los errores de los hombres canallas (que valoramos más que los hombres feministas) o para ser sujetos de nuestro despotismo.
A lo largo de la historia, muchos hombres han violado y abusado de las mujeres, quemaron las mujeres en la hoguera, compraron y vendieron sus cuerpos para el placer sexual, prohibiron las mujeres de la oficina política y religiosa, relegaron las mujeres a las tareas serviles, obligaron las mujeres a ocultar su rostro e incluso cortaron a sus órganos de placer sexual. Por supuesto, porque nosotras hemos creado el machismo y educamos a los hombres a perseguir y matar a toda mujer que se parecesen más hermosas, más inteligentes, más éticas, más valientes y más equilibradas de lo que somos. ¿De verdad usted creía que si, por ejemplo, la Inquisición católica fue un genocidio de la mitad de la población contra la otra mitad que éramos nosotras, habríamos tolerado durante cinco siglos? ¿Dónde crees que estábamos cuando una mujer estaba siendo condenado a muerte en la hoguera? En la iglesia, en la rutina segura de esposas-madres "virtuosas", en la casa a hacer planes para el dinero que ganamos denunciando la vaca o... en el tribunal que condenó a esta desafortunada. Esto nunca te dicieron, ¿verdad?
Nosotras que hiciemos la sexualidad ser tratado como algo sucio. Los hombres machistas que creamos pueden condenar a las mujeres que tienen algo que merece ser llamado vida sexual, pero aún no pierden la oportunidad de las relaciones sexuales extramatrimoniales y buscar prostitutas y la pornografía. Tal vez nunca te has dado cuenta de que usted o sus antepasados hombres fueron censurados por sus padres y madres para no nos tocar, nos mirar o nos hablar nada de lo que sugiere que el sexo porque no gusta a nosotras.
Y ¿no fue impresionante que consiguimos hacer a los hombres pensaren que el matrimonio y la familia existe desde hace milenios porque ellos quieren y defienden, porque saben la importancia de ella? Bueno, hombre de carácter, ¿lo que hace un dominador cuando quiere cualquiera cosa de lo que está en sus dominios? ¿No es muy diferente de usted caminar sobre cáscaras de huevo sólo para hablar con nosotras? ¿De usted recibir las miradas oblicuas de nuestros padres y nuestros hermanos? ¿De usted probar que puede sustentarnos? ¿De usted dar dinero y regalos para nosotras y nuestros padres? ¿De usted estar noviando con nosotras vigilados por nuestro padre, e no aproximandose de nosotras? ¿De usted finalmente casarse con nosotras a cambio de sexo horrible con una mujer con quien no puede hacer cosas agradables y no tiene nada que hablar? ¿De un hombre dar satisfacciones en una sociedad que él mismo ha creado? ¿E mas allá tolerar una banda de hermanos, primos, tíos nuestros, que nunca tuvieron nada que ver con eso, hacer un acuerdo financiero con el condado del suegro, pagando un nuevo hogar para un cuñado? ¿Por no decir cuando aún no conoce a la novia antes del matrimonio? Nos tiramos el sexo, el amor y incluso el afecto de la vida cotidiana para, usando en contra de usted, hombre de carácter, su gusto nada de malo por el sexo, consiguir llevarte al matrimonio y a través de esto obtener el status, la ostentación, o por lo menos la liberación de lo trabajo duro.
Los hombres han utilizado su belleza como una forma de comercio en la prostitución y la pornografía. Puesto que pediyendo con gracia la intimidad incluso de su esposa, él puede recibir 'no' por respuesta. Y con todas las otras mujeres el sexo o incluso una sonrisa puede ser muy difícil de recibir. Quisemos hacer de el sexo un delito, el pene erecto un insulto para la mujer y el hombre víctima de nuestro horror del sexo y de nuestra falta de interés futil un inmaduro que no soporta cientos de rechazos que a menudo él no merece. Pero los hombres no se sentieron obligados a tolerar esto. No habría límites para el amor que podríamos generar, si nosotras mismos, las mujeres, no los hubiesemos creado.
Nosotras fomos los únicos responsables de todas las dictaduras. Nosotras hemos creado los niños generalmente sumisos, sin amor, traumatizados, frustrados, tontos y religiosos. De hecho, toda dictadura tiene un lado religioso, muchas de ellas llegaron en nombre de la preservación de la familia, la castidad y la religión. Y en algunas de ellas nosotras estábamos en las calles para defenderla o denunciamos nuestros propios maridos si ellos no eran dóciles al dictador. Además, también creamos a los hombres a ser bestias de carga proveedores. Así que incluso en las democracias de hoy la gran mayoría de los hombres soportan las insolencias de las empresas y loscompañeros de trabajo desagradables sólo para seguir ganando el salario que paga nuestros gastos y de nuestros hijos.
Y hemos también otro tipo de dictadura: el feminismo. Podemos salir de una relación con la mitad de los bienes del hombre más pensiones para nuestros hijos y esto es la justicia; podemos escribir que todos los hombres son criminosos, violadores y canallas y que no es como decir que todo negro es un criminoso; podemos algunas de nosotras defender absurdas leyes anti-hombres, o incluso el exterminio en masa de hombres, y las otras deciren que no tienen nada que ver con eso; podemos ser rudas como un animal con un hombre y éste es el síndrome premenstrual. Pero en el mundo académico, los medios de comunicación o el día a día, un hombre no puede decir nada que ofenda a nuestro ego, sin, al menos, añadir explicaciones de lo que no está diciendo.
Es raro encontrar a una invasión o una guerra instigada por una mujer, o mismo un crimen común hecho por una mujer. ¿Y se necesita? Los bandidos ya roban el salario de un trabajador o millones de dinero de los contribuyentes para impresionar a las mujeres más bellas y más pobres de los valores. ¿Y cuántas veces nos mismas pedimos crímenes? Si todo esto falla, ellos van a ser heridos, detenidos o morir. Nosotras no tenemos la culpa de la falta de carácter e inteligencia de algunos hombres, pero tenemos la culpa de convertir a un hombre de carácter e inteligencia en casi un sinónimo de payaso insignificante.
Los hombres de la grandeza y valentía, los honramos por darnos el ateísmo. O más bien, por haber defendido el hecho obvio de que los dioses no existen, con peligro social o incluso de la vida, todavía hoy, contra el mito de que un día alguien inventó para engrandecer su propio ego, comer del trabajo de otros y dominar a su igual, mito apoyado y enseñado por nosotras. Religiones insultan la inteligencia de los sensatos y roban la dignidad de las personas que las siguen y la vida de aquellos que no les inclinan la cabeza.
Los hombres de la grandeza y valentía, los honramos por darnos la anarquía. O más bien, por haber defendido el hecho obvio de que sólo la gente exhibicionista, egocéntrica, violenta, antietica y utilitarista no puede formar un grupo social eficiente y ordenado movido por la cooperación mutua y sin jerarquías.
Fomos aprovechadoras de la contribución de los hombres a la humanidad, y no sólo hiciemos vergonzosamente menos que ellos, pero maldijemos a los campesinos después de la fruta madura. Deen las feministas 5, 10 o 50 grandes nombres de mujeres en la Historia. ¿Por qué hay docenas o cientos de hombres con la misma importancia o más a cada uno de ellos? ¿Oh, nosotras fomos oprimidas por los hombres, que no nos dejaban salir de nuestras casas? ¿Cómo, si somos diosas o casi diosas, y los hombres no son más que inutiles que sólo piensan en la cerveza y el sexo? Por supuesto, no estamos contando las últimas décadas, cuando cualquiera chupadora de verga hipócrita puede ser una especialista con estudios de postgrado, una persona influyente o por lo menos una celebridad. En los lugares en que, sobre todo por el trabajo de algunos hombres, se han convertido en los mejores del país o del mundo, con frutos suficientes para ser distribuidos a los mediocres y embusteros. Pero incluso cuando y donde las mujeres son la mayoría de las universidades, por lo general evadimos de la Física y las Matemáticas como el diablo de la cruz y mal producimos en los años de graduación y posgrado un texto técnico que incluso se sabe que existe. Los hombres hicieron un montón de basura, pero han hecho muchas cosas buenas, e incluso el feminismo surgió porque el mundo ha mejorado mucho, y no al revés. Entonces, cuanto mejor y más libre se convirtió una sociedad, más utilizamos el progreso que los hombres han logrado para decir que usted no tienen nada de basura moral e intelectual en sus cabezas, sólo nos hicieron mal y que deben desaparecer de delante de nosotras para ascendermos al poder y cada posición que nos da lo que queremos.
Debemos estar avergonzadas de haber creado el machismo para controlar a los hombres y unas a las otras.
Debemos estar avergonzadas de que nosotras hemos enseñado a nuestros hijos el machismo.
Debemos estar avergonzadas de atribuir a todos los hombres nuestras maldades, especialmente el machismo, que es más grande en nosotras mismas.
Hombres de decencia, nosotras erramos tanto que pedir perdón es ofender a su dignidad. Nuestra relación con usted, hombres buenos, fue de mala educación, tontería, psicopatía, hipocresía, vanidad, inestabilidad emocional, utilitarismo, ingratitud, engaño, calumnia, chantaje, desprecio, falta de respeto, abuso y sadismo. Siempre les dejamos abajo incluso de los pobres de peor carácter. Sólo la mala educación que hemos hecho a un solo de los hombres que buscaban nos tratar con respeto a través de años le ha llevado a la salud, la alegría y, sobre todo, la motivación para ser amable y ético. Y además tenemos que responder incluso para las vidas de personas justos que nosotras destruyemos o retrasamos personalmente, por la cárcel después de denuncia anónima, causando su dimisión por ser nuestro rival o para robar su carrera, lanzando a nuestros maridos y hermanos groseros y agresivos en contra de ellos y otras mil maneras. Incluso en una juventud que durase 100 años (de ellos y nuestra), no haríamos nada que fuera más grande que lo que ellos merecen o que nosotras mismas no hiciemos por hombres mucho menos dignos. Queremos aprender de usted, buen hombre, el carácter, la educación, la sabiduría, el respeto, la amabilidad y dejar de hacer errores. Esto es todo que podemos hacer de hoy a delante, al mismo tiempo que no es nada más allá de lo mínimo de la obligación que cualquier poco de ética e racionalidad nos ordena. Usa la fuerza y el talento que tiene dentro de usted mismo para avanzar en tu vida, pero que el primero en comer de tu árbol sea tú mismo, y no su esposa gorrona, su hijo ingrato, su pariente insaciable o el hombre que explota a otro hombre. No vamos a decir "siga adelante en tu vida", porque eso significaría "danate con las marcas de nustras uñas sucias", pero vamos a decir "vamos nosotros, hombres y mujeres, construir una nueva vida".
Podríamos educar niños y niñas que traerían el Cielo a la tierra cuando crecesen si tuviéramos carácter y sabiduría para hacerlo. Sin embargo, no nos hubiemos preocupado si el 99% de la humanidad va a se matar unos a otros, o si el 99% de todo el mundo se convertirá en ruinas inhabitables desde nuestro ego sea elevado, nuestras vanidades sean satisfechas, nosotras seamos agradadas y no vengamos a saber lo que es trabajar pesado para nuestro propio sostento. Juntos, podemos hacer milagros, pero hasta hoy hemos utilizado ustedes para crear el infierno.

Bueno, hombre de carácter, ¿lo que hace un dominador cuando quiere cualquiera cosa de lo que está en sus dominios? ¿No es muy diferente de usted caminar sobre cáscaras de huevo sólo para hablar con nosotras? ¿De usted recibir las miradas oblicuas de nuestros padres y nuestros hermanos? ¿De usted probar que puede sustentarnos? ¿De usted dar dinero y regalos para nosotras y nuestros padres? ¿De usted estar noviando con nosotras vigilados por nuestro padre, e no aproximandose de nosotras? ¿De usted finalmente casarse con nosotras a cambio de sexo horrible con una mujer con quien no puede hacer cosas agradables y no tiene nada que hablar? ¿De un hombre dar satisfacciones en una sociedad que él mismo ha creado? ¿E mas allá tolerar una banda de hermanos, primos, tíos nuestros, que nunca tuvieron nada que ver con eso, hacer un acuerdo financiero con el condado del suegro, pagando un nuevo hogar para un cuñado? ¿Por no decir cuando aún no conoce a la novia antes del matrimonio? Nos tiramos el sexo, el amor y incluso el afecto de la vida cotidiana para, usando en contra de usted, hombre de carácter, su gusto nada de malo por el sexo, consiguir llevarte al matrimonio y a través de esto obtener el status, la ostentación, o por lo menos la liberación de lo trabajo duro.
Los hombres han utilizado su belleza como una forma de comercio en la prostitución y la pornografía. Puesto que pediyendo con gracia la intimidad incluso de su esposa, él puede recibir 'no' por respuesta. Y con todas las otras mujeres el sexo o incluso una sonrisa puede ser muy difícil de recibir. Quisemos hacer de el sexo un delito, el pene erecto un insulto para la mujer y el hombre víctima de nuestro horror del sexo y de nuestra falta de interés futil un inmaduro que no soporta cientos de rechazos que a menudo él no merece. Pero los hombres no se sentieron obligados a tolerar esto. No habría límites para el amor que podríamos generar, si nosotras mismos, las mujeres, no los hubiesemos creado.
Nosotras fomos los únicos responsables de todas las dictaduras. Nosotras hemos creado los niños generalmente sumisos, sin amor, traumatizados, frustrados, tontos y religiosos. De hecho, toda dictadura tiene un lado religioso, muchas de ellas llegaron en nombre de la preservación de la familia, la castidad y la religión. Y en algunas de ellas nosotras estábamos en las calles para defenderla o denunciamos nuestros propios maridos si ellos no eran dóciles al dictador. Además, también creamos a los hombres a ser bestias de carga proveedores. Así que incluso en las democracias de hoy la gran mayoría de los hombres soportan las insolencias de las empresas y loscompañeros de trabajo desagradables sólo para seguir ganando el salario que paga nuestros gastos y de nuestros hijos.
Y hemos también otro tipo de dictadura: el feminismo. Podemos salir de una relación con la mitad de los bienes del hombre más pensiones para nuestros hijos y esto es la justicia; podemos escribir que todos los hombres son criminosos, violadores y canallas y que no es como decir que todo negro es un criminoso; podemos algunas de nosotras defender absurdas leyes anti-hombres, o incluso el exterminio en masa de hombres, y las otras deciren que no tienen nada que ver con eso; podemos ser rudas como un animal con un hombre y éste es el síndrome premenstrual. Pero en el mundo académico, los medios de comunicación o el día a día, un hombre no puede decir nada que ofenda a nuestro ego, sin, al menos, añadir explicaciones de lo que no está diciendo.
Es raro encontrar a una invasión o una guerra instigada por una mujer, o mismo un crimen común hecho por una mujer. ¿Y se necesita? Los bandidos ya roban el salario de un trabajador o millones de dinero de los contribuyentes para impresionar a las mujeres más bellas y más pobres de los valores. ¿Y cuántas veces nos mismas pedimos crímenes? Si todo esto falla, ellos van a ser heridos, detenidos o morir. Nosotras no tenemos la culpa de la falta de carácter e inteligencia de algunos hombres, pero tenemos la culpa de convertir a un hombre de carácter e inteligencia en casi un sinónimo de payaso insignificante.
Los hombres de la grandeza y valentía, los honramos por darnos el ateísmo. O más bien, por haber defendido el hecho obvio de que los dioses no existen, con peligro social o incluso de la vida, todavía hoy, contra el mito de que un día alguien inventó para engrandecer su propio ego, comer del trabajo de otros y dominar a su igual, mito apoyado y enseñado por nosotras. Religiones insultan la inteligencia de los sensatos y roban la dignidad de las personas que las siguen y la vida de aquellos que no les inclinan la cabeza.
Los hombres de la grandeza y valentía, los honramos por darnos la anarquía. O más bien, por haber defendido el hecho obvio de que sólo la gente exhibicionista, egocéntrica, violenta, antietica y utilitarista no puede formar un grupo social eficiente y ordenado movido por la cooperación mutua y sin jerarquías.
Fomos aprovechadoras de la contribución de los hombres a la humanidad, y no sólo hiciemos vergonzosamente menos que ellos, pero maldijemos a los campesinos después de la fruta madura. Deen las feministas 5, 10 o 50 grandes nombres de mujeres en la Historia. ¿Por qué hay docenas o cientos de hombres con la misma importancia o más a cada uno de ellos? ¿Oh, nosotras fomos oprimidas por los hombres, que no nos dejaban salir de nuestras casas? ¿Cómo, si somos diosas o casi diosas, y los hombres no son más que inutiles que sólo piensan en la cerveza y el sexo? Por supuesto, no estamos contando las últimas décadas, cuando cualquiera chupadora de verga hipócrita puede ser una especialista con estudios de postgrado, una persona influyente o por lo menos una celebridad. En los lugares en que, sobre todo por el trabajo de algunos hombres, se han convertido en los mejores del país o del mundo, con frutos suficientes para ser distribuidos a los mediocres y embusteros. Pero incluso cuando y donde las mujeres son la mayoría de las universidades, por lo general evadimos de la Física y las Matemáticas como el diablo de la cruz y mal producimos en los años de graduación y posgrado un texto técnico que incluso se sabe que existe. Los hombres hicieron un montón de basura, pero han hecho muchas cosas buenas, e incluso el feminismo surgió porque el mundo ha mejorado mucho, y no al revés. Entonces, cuanto mejor y más libre se convirtió una sociedad, más utilizamos el progreso que los hombres han logrado para decir que usted no tienen nada de basura moral e intelectual en sus cabezas, sólo nos hicieron mal y que deben desaparecer de delante de nosotras para ascendermos al poder y cada posición que nos da lo que queremos.
Debemos estar avergonzadas de haber creado el machismo para controlar a los hombres y unas a las otras.
Debemos estar avergonzadas de que nosotras hemos enseñado a nuestros hijos el machismo.
Debemos estar avergonzadas de atribuir a todos los hombres nuestras maldades, especialmente el machismo, que es más grande en nosotras mismas.
Hombres de decencia, nosotras erramos tanto que pedir perdón es ofender a su dignidad. Nuestra relación con usted, hombres buenos, fue de mala educación, tontería, psicopatía, hipocresía, vanidad, inestabilidad emocional, utilitarismo, ingratitud, engaño, calumnia, chantaje, desprecio, falta de respeto, abuso y sadismo. Siempre les dejamos abajo incluso de los pobres de peor carácter. Sólo la mala educación que hemos hecho a un solo de los hombres que buscaban nos tratar con respeto a través de años le ha llevado a la salud, la alegría y, sobre todo, la motivación para ser amable y ético. Y además tenemos que responder incluso para las vidas de personas justos que nosotras destruyemos o retrasamos personalmente, por la cárcel después de denuncia anónima, causando su dimisión por ser nuestro rival o para robar su carrera, lanzando a nuestros maridos y hermanos groseros y agresivos en contra de ellos y otras mil maneras. Incluso en una juventud que durase 100 años (de ellos y nuestra), no haríamos nada que fuera más grande que lo que ellos merecen o que nosotras mismas no hiciemos por hombres mucho menos dignos. Queremos aprender de usted, buen hombre, el carácter, la educación, la sabiduría, el respeto, la amabilidad y dejar de hacer errores. Esto es todo que podemos hacer de hoy a delante, al mismo tiempo que no es nada más allá de lo mínimo de la obligación que cualquier poco de ética e racionalidad nos ordena. Usa la fuerza y el talento que tiene dentro de usted mismo para avanzar en tu vida, pero que el primero en comer de tu árbol sea tú mismo, y no su esposa gorrona, su hijo ingrato, su pariente insaciable o el hombre que explota a otro hombre. No vamos a decir "siga adelante en tu vida", porque eso significaría "danate con las marcas de nustras uñas sucias", pero vamos a decir "vamos nosotros, hombres y mujeres, construir una nueva vida".
Podríamos educar niños y niñas que traerían el Cielo a la tierra cuando crecesen si tuviéramos carácter y sabiduría para hacerlo. Sin embargo, no nos hubiemos preocupado si el 99% de la humanidad va a se matar unos a otros, o si el 99% de todo el mundo se convertirá en ruinas inhabitables desde nuestro ego sea elevado, nuestras vanidades sean satisfechas, nosotras seamos agradadas y no vengamos a saber lo que es trabajar pesado para nuestro propio sostento. Juntos, podemos hacer milagros, pero hasta hoy hemos utilizado ustedes para crear el infierno.

You may have seen the Manifesto for Conscious Men, by professors Gay Hendricks and Arjuna Ardagh. Many women felt it wonderful. Folks, we feel shame for others, and shame of women also. Imagine a manifesto by two blacks men in the favela Rocinha, in Rio de Janeiro, saying things like "we black people are almost lazybones", "we black people turn in drug dealers to get woman" or "we black people do not have competence to enter college with no quotas". Or two Jews in Nazist Germany doing an open letter of support for Nazism. This manifesto is the same for men. It could have been written by any scoundel snack or any psychotic lesbian feminazist, but was written by two men. We have seen several texts of cajolerism of panties of a man alone, but were TWO MEN. Half a dozen of times speaking ill of women, for things that we feel angry, some people suspect including that we are men. Do you see how woman is above criticism?

But we're not writing here just to say that we translated this shame to humanity to Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. We are also here to say that there were the change. Dear Woman:

I come to you today as a man committed to becoming more conscious in every way. I feel deep love, great respect and a growing sense of worship for the gifts of the feminine. I also feel deep sorrow about the destructive actions of the unconscious masculine in the past and present. I want to apologize to you and make amends for those actions, in order to bring forth a new era of co-creation with you.

As I become more conscious, I grow more aware of the play of masculine and feminine energies: within me, within you and in all of life. I know that we all have access to the full spectrum of these energies. I also have a growing awakening to the dimension beyond all dualities, free and open as the sky.

I commit to owning and stewarding a masculinity that honors and celebrates us as equals. I know that in order to truly honor you as a multi-dimensional woman, I must stand fully present in myself, and own the gifts I have to share with you. We can create great miracles together by nurturing each other in a conscious way, by treating each other with reverence and respect, and by worshiping the divinity expressed in both masculine and feminine energy.

As men, our relationship to the feminine has often been unconscious. I feel sorrow that women and feminine energy have been for so long subjugated and oppressed. Throughout history, men have raped and abused you, burned you at the stake, bought and sold your bodies for sexual pleasure, barred you from religious and political office, relegated you to subservient chores, forced you to hide your faces and even cut off your organs of sexual pleasure.

I may not have done these things myself, but I am aware of the forces in the unconscious masculine psyche that feel threatened by and then seek to dominate the feminine. Many of the men who have oppressed or abused you are no longer alive. Among the living, many men may be unable to apologize because they remain shackled in a prison of anger, fear and shame. On behalf of my gender, I apologize to you for our unconscious actions when we were angry, scared and in the grip of destructive forces in our psyche. I choose no longer to contribute to those forces, nor to be run by them in my own life. I offer you this apology in hopes that we can make a fresh start in a spirit of co-creation.

I acknowledge that the religions of the past several thousand years have been mainly founded by and propagated by men. We have often acted as if we have the last word on God and the spiritual life, when all we have really known is the masculine expression of those things. As a result, we have suppressed more heartfelt, connective and inclusive spiritualities. I commit now to also honoring the spirituality of the divine feminine.

I honor your deep connection to the earth. As men, our relationship to our planet and its resources has often been motivated by competition, acquisition and domination. We mistakenly believed that expansion would protect us from encroachment, and in the process we violated the sanctity of the Earth and disturbed its natural rhythms. I commit to listening to the intuitive sense you have of how to heal our planet and make it thrive.

I honor your intuition and your profound capacity for feeling. As men, we have often devalued feeling and intuition in favor of a view dominated by data and logic. This way of being seemed necessary to move humanity beyond superstition and animalism, but in the process we lost much of the heart of life. I commit to respecting the arts of feeling, intuition and wisdom of the feminine heart, so that together we can integrate them into a balanced view of life, that honors and includes all wisdoms.

I honor the beauty and integrity of your body. When we nurture each other through our bodies with awareness and devotion, there are no boundaries to the love that we can generate. I feel sorrow that men have used your beauty as a form of commerce in prostitution and pornography. In the grip of lust we have often lacked the skills to ask gracefully for intimacy or to take ‘No’ for an answer. I take a stand against any form of enforced or soulless commercialization of woman’s beauty, and I respect that your body belongs to you.

I honor your capacity for peaceful resolution of conflicts, your ability to apologize effectively and forgive with grace. We men have waged endless wars over our disagreements. In the act of defending our lands and protecting our families, we became addicted to the fight itself. By contrast, it is rare to find an invasion or war instigated by a woman. I apologize for dragging you into these wars, and for the rape, murder, broken hearts and damaged families that resulted from them. We welcome your wisdom in creating a world that can get along without resorting to destruction.

I honor your capacity to listen to your body and its needs for food, rest and playtime. I celebrate your ability to pay attention to what is here, right now. As men, our preoccupation with goals and results often has burnt us out and made us unavailable for relationship. I know we have drawn you into this imbalance as well, so often frustrating your longing to connect. The time for a process-centred way of being is now upon us. I welcome your wisdom to maintain balance in our bodies, and in our ways of meeting.

I honor your sense of compassionate justice. In our justice system, men have dominated as judges and police, build prisons and revered the principle of punishment. I welcome you to work with us in bringing the return of the heart to our system of justice.

I also know that global economics have been dominated by the unconscious masculine, often living in a sense of lack and greed. As a result, many people have been left impoverished and disempowered. With your natural sense of nurturing and abundance, I know we can work together to create a truly caring global economics.

In apologizing to you for the hurts we men have caused you, I acknowledge that I and many of my brothers have also felt hurt by our mothers, our sisters, our partners and ex-partners. As a conscious man I am willing to feel those hurts fully within myself and release them. I forgive you for any ways you may have acted unconsciously, as I forgive myself and my gender for our own waking sleep.

From this day, moving forward, I vow to treat your heart as the sacred temple it is, and I commit to honoring the feminine in you and me and in my relationship to all life. I know that by leaving the past behind and joining hands in the present, we can create a synergy of our strengths. Together, there is nothing we cannot do.

Dear noble-minded man:

We have a lot to be ashamed of. I also feel deep sorrow about the destructive actions of the unconscious feminine in the past and present. We want to repair what can be repaired, and stop these actions, in order to bring a new era of co-creation with you.
We do not know who created the first religion, if some men or some women. But the religions survived because of us, mediocre women in the past and in the present. Why do we ourselves educate our children this garbage? Do you really believe or have believed that there have been a Goddess who was overthrown by a bunch of idiot males upset, and they shoved down our throats the gods they themselves invented? (Incidentally, what Goddess was that who has not finished with this, to begin with?) And did you really believe that women who have always been half of humanity tolerated for thousands of years a religious and social system where they have never received anything good?
We educate you men to exalt us the just for being women. If you search, you'll find, at any macho time, when we should be subject to parents and husband, without the right to vote, no right even to go out alone on the street, men calling us wise, moral forts, loving mothers, strong, fair, sweet, angelic just for being women. And see how it's funny: we call machismo a system in which you have NEVER done what you wanted, but what we wanted you to do for us. Masters did not use to pull the chair to their slaves to sit, right?
We do not know who was the first person to be ruler over his group, but at worst there would not be the second if we didn't love boasting, humiliation of others, rudeness, vulgar display of power and if we were not three, five, ten women giving sex to the same leading man, each one knowing the others, while to the just, wise, skilled, polite, but non-leading man, we do not give a chance to touch us without dozens of requirements and without the lack of better options. We are not to blame for lack of character and intelligence of some men, but we are to blame for turning a man of character and intelligence in almost a synonym for insignificant clown.
We love it when a man is committing to "owning and stewarding a masculinity that honors and celebrates us as equals" when it means our feminism, of equality in what is convenient and hatred and disrespect for the men in the rest. We love it when some men use their character only to blame themselves for the errors of scoundrels men (which we value more than the feminist men) or to be subjects of our despotism.
Throughout history, too many men have raped and abused women, burned women at the stake, bought and sold their bodies for sexual pleasure, barred women from religious and political office, relegated women to subservient chores, forced women to hide your faces and even cut off their organs of sexual pleasure. Of course, because we created the machismo and educate men to pursue and kill every woman who looked more beautiful, more intelligent, more ethical, more courageous and more balanced than we are. Did you really believe that if, for example, the Catholic Inquisition was a genocide of half the population against the other half that were us, we would have tolerated it for five centuries? Where do you think we were when a woman was being sentenced to death at the stake? In church, secure in the routine of "virtuous" wives-mothers, in house making plans for the money we make denouncing that cow or... in the court that condemned this unfortunate. This you have never been told, right?
Were we who made sexuality be treated as something dirty. The macho men that we create can condemn women who have something that deserves to be called sex life, but even they do not lose the opportunity of extramarital sex and seek prostitutes and pornography. But how many are women who don't say another woman is a whore when she hasn't a "honorable" life? We never heard or read one woman saying that a woman is no worse or less worthy because they made a porn movie, but we could remember in 30 seconds at least four men who said that. Maybe you never noticed that you or your ancestors men were censored by their fathers and mothers not to touch us, look at us or speak to us anything that suggests sex because we don't like.
And wasn't it wonder that we make men think that marriage and family exist for millennia because they, men, want and defend because they know the importance of it? Well, man of character, what a dominant makes when wants whatever is in his field? Is it not very different of you walk on eggshells just to speak to us? Of you go through the oblique looks from our parents and our brothers? Of you prove that you can support us? Of you give money and gifts for us and our parents? Of you dating us guarded by our father and even approaching us? Of you finally marrying us in exchange for horrible sex with woman who you cannot do nice things with and have nothing to talk with? Of a man give satisfaction in a society that he himself created? And even tolerating a band of brothers, cousins, uncles of ours who never had anything to do with that, doing financial agreement with the father-in-law's county, paying a new home for a brother-in-law? Not to say when he even don't know the bride before marriage? We took away sex, love and even affection for everyday life to, using against you, man of character, your nothing wrong liking for sex, can lead you to marriage and through it get status, display, or at least the deliverance of hard work.
Men have used the beauty of women as a form of commerce in prostitution and pornography. Because asking gracefully for intimacy even to his wife, he can take ‘No’ for an answer. And with all the other women sex or even a smile can be very difficult to receive.
